The Travel Checklist — What to Pack So Nothing Gets Left Behind
Every traveler has left behind a charger, a toothbrush, or — worst case — the documents folder. The fix is one good checklist you review before every trip. Save this page.
Documents and money
- Passport/ID (check validity — many countries require 6+ months);
- Tickets and booking confirmations, on the phone and printed;
- Travel insurance with its hotline number;
- Bank card plus some cash, stored in two separate places;
- Driver's license if renting a car; cloud copies of everything.
Electronics, toiletries, first aid
Charger and cable, power bank (carry-on only — banned in checked luggage!), universal adapter, headphones. Toiletries in travel bottles (max 100 ml each in carry-on), sunscreen, personal medication in original packaging, a mini first-aid kit. Keep every cable in one pouch — see our organizers.
Clothes — the capsule principle
Pack items that all combine: for 7 days, 4–5 tops, 2 bottoms, one warm layer, one weather layer, underwear per day plus one spare, two pairs of shoes. Roll everything and sort by category with packing cubes — full technique in our packing guide.
Carry-on essentials and the last 5 things
If you check luggage, keep documents, electronics, medication, one change of clothes, and valuables in the cabin bag. Before leaving home: check the stove and taps, unplug appliances, empty the fridge of perishables, leave a spare key with someone you trust, and weigh your suitcase.
If your suitcase or backpack needs an upgrade, browse suitcases and backpacks at CarryMe — free Tbilisi delivery, cash on delivery, inspect with the courier. Safe travels!
